Ashleigh Jewett

Title: Clinic Owner, Psychotherapist

Credentials: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Life can be hard. Sometimes we feel like we are spinning in circles unsure where to go next. We know the end result we want, but have no idea what first step to take.

As a therapist, I act as a guide while you lead—helping navigate your chosen path. The process can be hard and involve tough truths, but it aims to reach the meaningful change you’re ready for.

I will use a blend of Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help my clients accept what they cannot change and work towards changing what they can.

I accommodate each client’s unique experience, needs, and goals for therapy. Helping you gain self-awareness, improve self-reflection, and helping you move forward in life. You’ll be the version of you you’ve always wanted. It all starts right here, right now.

Experience: Ashleigh is an LCSW and graduated from Baylor University with a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work. Over the last 8 years, she has worked closely with and assessing clients with depression, anxiety, trauma experiences, and psychotic disorders. She has spent much of her professional career serving clients at the International Rescue Committee, in Community Mental Health, and in private practice settings.

Client focus: Families, individuals, and children (5+ years old)

Types of therapy: EMDR, CBT-I, CBT, DBT, ACT, and Family Systems

Presenting concerns: Anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, life transitions, emotional regulation, and more

Specialities: Insomnia, parenting, and trauma

Fun Facts:

  • Ashleigh has 9 siblings

  • She is ambidextrous

  • Sarcasm is her second-language

  • When she isn’t working, you can catch her being adventurous or on her couch doing absolutely nothing 🙈

“People are shaped by their environments, and sometimes that creates a version of ourselves we no longer want. Therapy helps when it’s a safe, welcoming space for learning and self-discovery.”

Ashleigh’s first session with you

Your initial session with Ashleigh is an opportunity to learn about her therapeutic approach and the services she provides, so you can determine whether you feel we would be a good match. During this initial session, Ashleigh will also gather information about you- your goals for therapy and the qualities you’re seeking in a therapist—to assess how she can best support your progress.
