If you are in crisis, go to the nearest Emergency Room now. They can help stabilize you and connect you with local resources. If you are in Texas and safe, you can contact us to schedule an intake appointment.

Yes. By law, all of the information you tell Mind Oasis will remain between us. However, your therapist is legally a mandated reported. This means if you tell your therapist you want to:
Harm or kill yourself;
Harm or kill others;
Or give information about a child, elderly person, or a person with a disability being exploited or abused
your therapist has to take necessary precautions to ensure safety is upheld. This may include, but is not limited to, calling the police, contacting your emergency contact, contacting Children Protective Services, and/or contacting Adult Protective Services.
If you would like your therapist to consult with another provider, a Release of Information will need to be filled out by you.

The Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) is the Texas regulatory board for Psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapy, and professional counselors. BHEC can be contacted by going to https://bhec.texas.gov/contact-us/.

Mind Oasis does accept most insurances. Each insurance plan is unique so please reach out to your insurance carrier to ensure your clinician or Mind Oasis is in-network with your specific insurance policy.
You can also reach out to Mind Oasis by clicking here and Mind Oasis will verify your benefits; However we still encourage you to verify that Mind Oasis is in network and cannot be held financially responsible if Mind Oasis’ insurance verification process deems incorrect. It is important to know that insurance will only pay for therapy services that are medically necessary. If you are wanting to come to therapy to vent or just talk, you may not meet criteria for your insurance to pay for sessions. This can be discussed during the intake (first) session between you and Ashleigh.

Mind Oasis can usually accommodate a first session within 48 hours of you reaching out. This does highly depend on how quickly you can fill out the intake paperwork, which is legally required to be filled out before meeting with your clinician.

If you are interested in psychotherapy or sleep therapy services, sessions can range from 30-55 minutes, depending on your availability and symptomatology.
