Immigration Evaluation

Research highlights the significant impact of professional psychological evaluations on immigration case outcomes. A major 2021 study published in the Journal of Forensic and Legal Medicine found that applicants who included a forensic medical or psychological evaluation in their case had an 81.6% success rate, which was nearly double the national asylum grant rate of 42.4% during the same period (Atkinson et al., 2021 study on PHR.org). This crucial evidence helps strengthen your testimony and document the real-world consequences of trauma and hardship, significantly strengthening claims for asylum, hardship waivers, U-visas, and other forms of relief.

  • Ashleigh conducts:

    • Extreme Hardship Evaluations

    • Asylum Assessments

    • Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Evaluation

    • T-Visa Assessments

    • U-Visa Assessments

    • Cancellation of Deportation.

If you think you could benefit from one of these evaluations, please reach out to your immigration lawyer or to Mind Oasis by filling out this form. Mind Oasis will help determine if you meet criteria for one of these evaluations.

  • Typically, when you are working with an immigration lawyer, your lawyer should recommend an immigration evaluation if you could benefit from one. If you are not sure if you could benefit from an immigration evaluation, contact us and we can help.

  • Ashleigh usually completes an evaluation in two sessions, both ranging from about 2-3 hours long. Both sessions will be done virtually.

A week after the first appointment takes place, Ashleigh will reach out to you for a second appointment. The second appointment is usually no longer than 2 hours where Ashleigh will gather any additional information that would be helpful for your evaluation report. Following this appointment, Ashleigh will provide an estimated date that the report will be completed. When the report is ready for you, we will request the last $400. Once that is paid, the report will be released to your attorney.

Mind Oasis aims to have the report completed and released to your attorney within 14 days of the first appointment. This process can be expedited for an additional fee.

  • Each evaluation is $1,200, with $800 of that needed as a non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment and the last $400 before the evaluation report is released. Once you reach out to us, we will: Send you the consent forms needed, request the $800 deposit, and schedule the first 2-hour long appointment.

If you request the evaluation report be completed in less than 14 days, there will be an expedition fee added to the final cost. Contact us for an expedited fee quote.
